I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving! Next week, we will be working on Week 4 of our OWL Unit 2: Friends. Please see below for reminders and next week's centers. Reminders: -Wednesday, 12/2: Half day for teacher professional development. Students will be dismissed at 11:15. -Thursday, 12/3: Tag Day (out of uniform) to raise money for student council. -Friday, 12/4: No school for parent check in meetings via Google Meets. Please sign up for a 10 minute time slot via the Sign Up Genius link. I will send you a link to our meeting. -Tuesday, 12/22: Half day. Christmas break begins. Centers: -Watercolors (ART): Creates two-dimensional artwork. Explores and experiments with wet and dry media to create artwork. Observes and explores materials, objects, or events in environment. -Grocery Store Play Continued (DRAMATIC PLAY) -Story Related Vocabulary Matching Game (LITERACY): Understands that pictures, print, and other symbols carry meaning. Interacts appropriately with other children by cooperating, helping, sharing, and expressing interest. -Gingerbread People (ART): Creates two-dimensional artwork. Express pride in work.
