Hello, families! Below, please find our centers and stories for next week. If you have not sent in a family photo, please send one in to add to our family picture wall! We will be celebrating Halloween with a class party on Thursday, 10/28. More info to follow! Drawing with Chalk (ART): Creates original artwork to express thoughts and feelings. Explores and experiments with chalk. Engages in a variety of fine motor tasks. Building Block Towers (BLOCKS): Moves body with balance and control. Builds finger dexterity. Describes the physical properties of objects. Asks questions about materials .Supports dramatic play. Animal Matching Game (VISUAL DISCRIMINATION/FINE MOTOR): Practices ability to find similarities and differences between objects. Practices classification skills and improves memory skills. Supports vocabulary. Stringing Beaded Bracelets (FINE MOTOR): Uses eye-hand coordination to perform fine-motor tasks. Recognizes and extends simple patterns of repeating colors.
