Hello Families! You will find our weekly centers from our OWL curriculum below for this week. These are the centers that we would be working on in school. They can be easily modified to be used at home. I will include any necessary supplies, preparation, and suggested vocabulary to use with your child when working together in centers. I will also include books, stories, and songs to sing throughout the day. Next Week's Centers: Creating "I-Spy" Sculptures (ART): Creates three-dimensional artwork. Approaches tasks with inventiveness. Post Office (DRAMATIC PLAY): Becomes aware of the roles, responsibilities, and services provided by community workers. Uses language while participating in dramatic play. Letter & Postcard Supplies (WRITING): Writes for many purposes. Uses writing in the context of dramatic play. Composes or dictates messages. Exploring Sand (Sensory/Science): Observes and explores materials and objects. Asks questions, uses a variety or tool and materials to strengthen hand grasp, flexibility, and coordination. Describes physical properties of materials.
